With the lifting of the

able to accept visiting yachts with crew only on board from the following
countries subject to clearance from the Port Medical Authorities:

The travel ban has also
been lifted for the following countries.
Austria, Poland,
Switzerland, Iceland, Slovakia, Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Finland, Ireland,

All visiting yachts, or
Maltese yachts returning from overseas must submit a Maritime Declaration of
Health and a Crew List to portmedic.mhec@gov.mt 24 hours before their planned
arrival in Malta, and wait for approval before travelling. They would then need
to submit the confirmed approval by email to the Marina where they plan to
stay.
On arrival in Maltese
territorial waters they should call Valletta Port Control on Channel 12 to
advise them of their arrival and await instructions. When told to proceed to
their Marina they should call the Marina on VHF Channel 13.
Visitors from outside
the approved list of countries may be accepted if they are able to prove that they
have been in one of the countries on the approved list for at least 14 days
before travelling to Malta.
Yacht owners should be
aware that face masks or visors are obligatory in shops and offices in Malta. Bars,
restaurants and places of entertainment are open and do not require face masks.
Face masks can be purchased from any local pharmacy.
